It's hard to believe that we're almost midway through September & we're in our 4th month in the new space on Brookland Arts Walk. It's been so great to have a retail store front and I've loved getting to know the Brookland community & having you pop by. Thanks to everyone who's visited. It's such a great area, full of fabulous creatives, so if you haven't had a chance to visit you should! (Saturdays 9-1 are the best time, in conjunction with the weekly Fresh Farm Monroe Farmer’s Market).
On Sept 15 the Arts Walk hosted the annual Clay Festival where 25+ potters and ceramic artisans popped up all along the Arts Walk! I am so excited for this event and the turnout was amazing. You can learn more HERE.
In terms of my space I'm also so happy with the work area in 'the back'. After a very successful trade show in New York in early August we're starting to fill wholesale orders & send them out to stores. I'm learning how the studio space works for that task & I definitely need to figure out how to take advantage of the very high ceilings and build more storage going UP⬆. But for now I'm able to spread out which is nice and my wheels are turning on how to continue to optimize the space.
This goes for me personally as well & my thoughts are all about storage & organizing! As we savor the last moments of summer, it's a good time to start thinking ahead.
