March 2025 Newsletter ~ Wrapping up Women's History Month

Posted by katie leary sebastian on

March 28 - Nothing like sneaking the monthly newsletter in at the last minute! We've been busy getting wholesale orders out to stores, which is always fun and exciting. We're deep in the process and should have the last orders out for early summer by mid May.

We're also leaning into spring & excited to begin outdoor markets and to being open during the weekly farmers market (every saturday) in Brookland!

Our full market schedule is below & our first outdoor market was in DuPont Circle, hosted by Takoma Collective & DuPont Little Flea Market. As an extra bonus the DuPont Cherry Blossom Market was happening along Connecticut & P at the same time!

It is PEAK cherry blossom weekend so we have plenty of pinks to compliment the blossoms and all sorts of other goodies in neutrals, blues, rainbows & more!

The opportunities to shop in person are growing. You can always find us in Brookland on Friday afternoons (2-6) and Saturdays during the Farmers Market (10-2) but we've also got some popup markets happening this spring/early summer. Check out our spring market schedule below, mark your calendars, & pop by to see us!

Find individual market details HERE. And of course shopping online is ALWAYS an option but nothing beats shopping in person.

We are excited to have partnered with Project Pink Tax and @sioceramics and our neighbors at the @brooklandartswalk to fundraise for menstrual equity. We have a box in the shop for menstrual product donations during the month of March. There are also interactive games on @projectpinktax social media platforms, and lots of small business spotlights. Please consider supporting this important cause. Come by on Saturday and donate!

Happy Spring Everyone. These are some scary and tough times for many people, particularly in the DC area. It's important we hold each other up so I am very grateful for my ixoq community.

LOL. I just realized my banner said April 2024. haha. I'm blaming the political climate.
